The Home Safe Trade Point discount scheme applies to the entire B&Q store!

You may not be aware, but over the past year or so B&Q have made some significant changes to how they operate their Trade Point business within their B&Q stores. All existing Trade Point discount cards were cancelled and the 'Wednesday Only' over 60's Diamond club card has been restricted to gardening products only.

Historically, Trade Point was established to service its trade customers and offered tradespeople from all business types a specific range of products in a catalogue format, accompanied by a discount card. The average B&Q store would stock around 60000 items and around 12500 of those items would be available through Trade Point. The discount its customers received would depend on the amount they spent and the size of their company.

When Home Safe first launched we successfully negotiated the highest amount of discount possible for our members across a specific range of "landlord orientated" products. This is a benefit that really works for many of our members, some members have even commented that they have already had the cost of their licence back in the form of discounts received! That being said, we have always pushed for more and where possible, tried to extend the range.

We are pleased to remind members that the Home Safe Trade Point Discount Scheme was upgraded to a fixed 10% discount across the full range of products available in the entire B&Q store. No minimum spend will be required, this is available 7 days a week and your card can be used in the general store or the Trade Point counter. We feel that this provides members with a much greater opportunity for discount and is far less complicated than the previous discount scheme that only applied to a specific range of products.
