Local Authorities with whom we work as a delivery partner will also be Data Controllers with regard to your personal data that is provided for the regulatory purposes of compliance with a property licensing scheme.

Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site https://home-safe.org.uk (our site). This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site (for e.g., in a relevant location, to make an application for a Local Authority licence to operate and rent out a residential property as well as the ongoing management of your compliance with the terms and conditions of your property licence whilst you are a licence holder), or requesting, whether in writing or verbally, any further services that we may, from time to time, offer, make available or provide access to. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site.
If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence or communication.
We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs, operating system, browser usage and other communication data and the resources that you may access, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise.
As a delivery partner for Local Authorities enabling and ensuring, amongst other services, regulatory compliance with selective, additional or HMO licensing conditions, the legal bases upon which we collect and process information from or provided by you are as follows: contract, legal obligation, public interest and our legitimate business interests and consent.

We may collect information about your computer including, where available, your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns and does not identify any individual and we will not collect personal information in this way.

· To provide support to you to enable you to adhere to our Terms of Website Use and any code of practice for landlords that we may, from time to time, publish as well as remain in compliance with any Local Authority set licensing conditions.
· To ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer or smartphone.
· To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may be of interest to you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes.
· To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between us and any Local Authority with whom we work as a delivery partner.
· To allow you to participate in any interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so.
· To notify you about changes to our service, website, Terms of Website Use or this Privacy Policy.
· Your personal information shall not be used for any other purposes.
Disclosure of your information
We may disclose your personal information to non Local Authority third parties:
In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection or detection and credit risk reduction. This also includes sharing your data with a Local Authority partner for the legal purposes of regulatory compliance and, where applicable, enforcement against breaches of the terms of a property licensing regime.
We do not sell your personal data that we collect and/or hold.
