Accessing And Using Our Site
Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice (see section below: “Our Site Changes Regularly”). We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
By accessing and using our website you accept that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have made the necessary technical (IT) arrangements in order to use the site to make your licence application, upload any required documentation successfully and to keep your licence applicant / holder and licensed property information correct and up to date at all times as required under the relevant licensing scheme designation whether Selective Licensing, Additional Licensing or mandatory HMO Licensing.
Where any Agent, fellow business Partner, fellow Company Director, Employee or family member accesses and/or uses this site acting on your behalf you must ensure that they have been made aware of our Terms of Website Use and that they access and use the site in accordance with these Terms of Website Use.
If, in order to enable, via log-in to an individualised account, the full range of services to be provided to you by our website (e.g. licence applications and compliance [with licence terms] management), you are asked to create or are provided with a password or a user identification code or reference number you must treat this information as confidential and ensure that it is appropriately secure and not disclosed to any unauthorised person or organisation.
Where the information is disclosed to an Agent, business partner, fellow Company Director or Employee you must ensure that they are aware of the confidential nature of this information and the need to keep the information secure and undisclosed to unauthorised 3rd parties.
If you become aware or suspect that your account log-in information has been, or may have been, disclosed to (whether accidentally or otherwise) or dishonestly or unlawfully acquired by an unauthorised 3rd party then you must inform Home Safe via email to info@home-safe.org.uk as soon as is reasonably possible. Home Safe will not be liable for any losses occurring as a result of unauthorised access to our website gained by any individual, other than the legitimate owner, via using your or the legitimate owner’s password or code.
