One of his offences involved forcing a tenant to cook food in their bedroom because the landlord refused to provide a kitchen. The judge at Snaresbrook Crown court dismissed the landlord's appeal and ordered him to pay £31,250 in fines, costs of £8,657 and a victim surcharge of £190. In addition the landlord was ordered to pay the costs incurred in relation to his Crown court appeal hearing.
