The Home Safe Scheme Supports Doncaster Under 14 Girls Team

In each area where Home Safe operates we look to collaborate with local Community groups and the Local Authority in developing sustainable legacy initiatives that can bring long term benefits to the local community. Why do we do it? Because part of our role through our work in the Housing sector has building stronger communities at its heart.
We believe that young people are an integral part of any strong community and so their health and well-being is hugely important to the success of any community.
With this in mind we are backing youth sports and supporting community initiatives for young people and so, as our Head Office is in Doncaster, The Home Safe Scheme Ltd is proud to say that we are supporting Doncaster Rovers' Under 14 Girls team (Club Doncaster Girls Football Club under 14s) by providing them with sponsorship enabling them to purchase their new kit for this season. The team play in the Sheffield and Hallamshire County Women’s and Girls League and are an inspiration for young people across the whole Borough of Doncaster as they showcase the proven health benefits for our communities' Youth of participation in sport, physical activity and exercise as well as the development of commitment and teamwork skills. Like all young people, the team suffered under Covid restrictions and were not able to train or compete during lockdowns but, following a complete pre-season of training, did well when the season restarted, winning their first 4 League games.
If you are, or know of, an organisation in an area where we operate we would be happy to hear from you to discuss any community initiatives that we could consider supporting and that would benefit the health and wellbeing of the community where you live.
