Two new selective licence schemes in Burnley will go live on 21st July 2022 and run until 20th July 2027. The schemes are in Burnley Wood with Healey Wood and the Leyland Road area and the licence fee is set at £715 per property with a discounted rate of £640 for landlords/licence holders who have previously held a licence in the borough. Discounts are also available for "early bird" applications and landlords who are members of the council's good landlord and agent scheme (GLAS). In order to further help landlords the council will allow fees to be paid over 24 months via monthly direct debit.
